How To Reconnect The SalesMind AI Chrome Extension

Prerequisites

  • SalesMind AI Chrome Extension already installed
  • Access to Chrome's Extensions menu
  • Your SalesMind AI account open in a browser tab

When You Need This

Your extension may become disabled or your account may show as Disconnected after a Chrome update, a browser restart, or a LinkedIn session refresh. Reconnecting takes under two minutes.


Step 1: Open the Extensions Menu

  1. Look for the puzzle icon in the top-right corner of Chrome.
  2. Click it to open the Extensions popup.


Step 2: Go to Manage Extensions

Click Manage extensions at the bottom of the popup. This opens the full list of your installed extensions.


Step 3: Re-enable the SalesMind AI Extension

Find SalesMind AI in the list and toggle the switch to on.

👉 Note: You may see a warning that says "This extension violates the Chrome Web Store policy." This is nothing to worry about. Our team is updating the extension to meet the latest Chrome guidelines. The extension is fully secure and functional — your data and LinkedIn connection are protected. Go ahead and re-enable it.


Step 4: Reconnect Your Account

  1. Go back to your SalesMind AI profile in the web app.
  2. Under Connected Accounts, you'll see a Disconnected status.
  3. Click Reconnect.
  4. Click Save Changes.

After reconnecting:

  • Your account status changes from Disconnected to Connected.
  • The extension restores your LinkedIn session cookies securely.
  • Campaigns and automation resume immediately.

💡 Tip: No data is lost during a disconnection. Re-enabling and reconnecting is all it takes to pick up where you left off.
